ABOUT SATCHAAS

SOCIETY'S PURPOSE is to improve health outcomes among the vulnerable by reducing health disparities and by providing free access and fulfillment administration to maintenance medications for people who might be having a difficult time financially. When applicable and on a case by case basis, will include access to a vehicle for transportation relating to their healthcare.

Unemployment and increasing healthcare expenses have resulted in an increasing number of people who cannot afford to purchase their maintenance medications and supplemental services throughout North America. The primary purpose of Satchaas is to increase access to maintenance medications for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured people who experience gaps in their insurance coverage and/or challenges in accessing medications.

Satchaas origin story starts with a number of healthcare professionals that have worked from Vancouver to Seattle. Whether they're a nurse, physician, pharmacist or walk-in clinic, everyone has directly witnessed thousands of people having to choose between spending on food or spending on the medications they need to survive.

At the present time Satchaas focuses most of their efforts on helping citizens with Weight loss, Diabetes, COPD and Asthma while offering a few other supplemental services. We raise awareness and fundraise by working with third-party partners including other non-profits.

This continuity of care is especially important for people with multiple clinical conditions that require ongoing maintenance medication and supplementary services like senior care.

OUR SERVICES

”Found out about Satchaas but wasn't quite sure how it worked so I filled out an application anyways. I was a bit skeptical but 2 weeks later I was informed that I'd be receiving a free months supply of insulin. Unbelievable! This news came at a time when I really needed the extra support. I hope other people are made aware of their services”

- Dan V. - East Vancouver, BC

”There have been many months that I was forced to skip some does of my medications in order to make them last, so when I found out about Satchaas I thought I'd find out to see if they could help. After submitting my information, someone from their staff contacted me and indicated I qualified for a free two month supply of inhalers. I'm so glad I reached out.”

- Geraldine W. - Hendersonville, North Carolina

”I live in an independent community but have a hard time financially every month. My family helps out but most of the time I have to make choices that aren't always great for my health. A family member heard about Satchaas and decided to contact them. We filled out a few forms and waited. A week later I was told that I was selected to receive a 30 day supply of my insulin. We need more organizations like this.”

- Virginia H. - Kent, Washington
